Scarf of green squares

I finally crocheted something again! After almost a whole month of only knitting, I finally found something I wanted to crochet. It's a scarf made with Bernat Masala, my current favourite self-striping yarn. If I didn't know it, I would find it hard to believe that all those squares are from the same skein. (And a half). I love that stuff, it's just too bad that it starts too look old and worn too quickly.

It was really quick, I was very surprised at how fast you can make the squares with this thick yarn, it only took three evenings to do.

 

 

Now I just need a brown or green coat to wear it with. Hmm...

Nah, I'm not crocheting another coat, I've still hardly used the last one. The weather's always too wet or too hot for a crocheted coat. It was probably my coat that was the final drop that provoked the weather-gods to make the global-warming cup overflow, and turn the autumn tropical. I suspect that's the kind of humour they have. Go figure.
