Beth, don't thank me just yet. At least not until you're done cussing me out for not knowing how to write a pattern that is easy to follow! LOL!!!!!! However, I will say this, once you've made one of these stockings, any others that you make will be easy!

I've included "how to" pics since I'm not that great at writing patterns, but I can decifer them pretty well. If you have any problems with how I've written this up, let me know, and I can try to help you through it. Enjoy!

Sorry that it's taken me so long to get back on here. The toe was giving me some issues, and then my computer decided to crap out on me. I just now finally got it to boot back up. ARGGGGHHHH!!!!

LOL!

 

I haven't written up the pattern just yet, but I do have a pic of the final piece. Let me know what you think, and if it's close enough to what you're looking for, and I can get the pattern to you tomorrow.

Since you can't seem to find this pattern, I'm in the process of altering a stocking pattern that I have to fit the look that you want. I'm using scrap yarn, so bear with my color choices once I get it finished and posted here with the pattern for you. Are you SURE you don't want the really creepy elf head stocking.. it is what Christmas nightmares are made of!

 

I am glad that someone will be able to get that to you.

I had thought that I had seen it online as well which is why I went on a good hour or so search for it. It was driving me nuts that I couldn't find it! I always find what I am looking for!!.. it might take some time, But I do end up getting it!

this is sooo odd, i just saw this pattern today in a batch of crochet mags i won on e-bay, contact me by e-mail and i will get that to you. yeaaaaaaaaaa, i was able to help!!! if you had had the week i have, you'd understand!!! my dryer went wacko, and have to get a new one, but hubby has been working wayyyy to much and can't get any time off so we haven't been able to go and get a new one, and then my laptop died and now have to send it in to the shop. thank goodness that it is insured as they have to put a new motherboard in:U , so am glad to be able to help and have a happy thing to do:lol ::rollin :lol : hope your having a good day. vicki:)h

I just remembered where I saw an elf stocking. It's in one of my pattern books. I know, I know, that won't do you much good. I got the book on clearance, so I don't know if you can get it anymore, but at least now I know where to start looking online to see if it's there. I'll update in a bit.

ok ... i know how to sew .. i want a crochet one.. and this wouldnt be driving me as carzy as it is BUT i KNOW i found one and i cant find it any more.. gonna try not to obsess as much as yesterday ... that sewn one is about the shape.. the crochet one has a little more pointed toe.. so I am gonna go make myself a nice pot of tea.. sit down and work on some projects and only search during my breaks today LOL.. yeah right ..

I have a really creepy looking one that is the elf head and where the toe is it is his beard. It is really creepy looking though. No seriously, it is REALLY creepy looking!

 

 

I did find online a sewn pattern for an elf stocking.

but I don't know how to sew. The link is there though. I searched and am normally known for the "if it is there, I can find it" theory and I couldn't find a crocheted one. Sorry.
