Seeking the Easiest Poncho Pattern in the World

I have a couple of new crocheters on my hands who all really really want to make a poncho. As I'm of the OMG that makes me look like a gunny sack camp, I've never even bothered reading any poncho directions! Anyone got somewhere they can steer me to? Thank you!

Go over to the Lion Brand Yarn site. They have at least 20 poncho patterns for crochet. Look through and see which you think suits your groups ability.

I made this poncho out of boucle. It is great and very easy.

You can really make any stitch into a poncho by making two rectangle pieces about 18" x 29", and sewing them together a certain way (which is easily found in many poncho patterns online). This is what I did for a poncho I made... I picked a shell stitch I liked, and went with it.

 

I need to get a picture of it sometime... but it's black, so I don't know how well it will photograph. Heh...
