Seeking the Easiest Poncho Pattern in the World

wondersheep

Question

I have a couple of new crocheters on my hands who all really really want to make a poncho. As I'm of the OMG that makes me look like a gunny sack camp, I've never even bothered reading any poncho directions! Anyone got somewhere they can steer me to? Thank you!

You can really make any stitch into a poncho by making two rectangle pieces about 18" x 29", and sewing them together a certain way (which is easily found in many poncho patterns online). :D This is what I did for a poncho I made... I picked a shell stitch I liked, and went with it. :)

I need to get a picture of it sometime... but it's black, so I don't know how well it will photograph. Heh...
