OH!!! I meant to tell you that THIS ONE is *my* favorite crocheted dishcloth stitch and THIS ONE is my favorite knitted one.

I have actually only ever made two, but I'm glad that you started this topic because I would like to make more. The only problem is that I don't really know which ones just look pretty and which ones people actually use.

i like a dishcloth done on a tunisian hook in tunisian simple stitch

The ones I use the most I did with a ripple stitch, just a like a rippled afghan. I usually use the whole ball of crochet cotton so they are pretty big .

It is from Old-Time Crochet Made Easy and made with size 10 thread. It works up fast and is so fun...if you love thread like I do. Great project when I have threaditis (the need to crochet with thread!!!)
