They have a link where they have a ton of audition videos of people who didn't make it on the show. Well "Davey Makeout" was one of those people and this was one of his outfits on his video. I am pretty darn sure those are granny squares. If you see the video they are all layered. It's pretty interesting for lack of a better word.

 

I guess if you fell down you would have plenty of padding.

I love Project Runway. You know that is the perfect skirt for learning to ice skate, warm and cushion-y! My daughter has been wanting to try-I may actually have to make one of those:lol .

very unique idea..but for skating I think I would stick to wearing breezers with the padding built in...of course I need lots of padding..Think my DGD would wear one?

maybe if it wasn't layers on layers on layers of grannies...a little granny square skirt would be cute on a little one, maybe just with out the granny square ruffles though..just my opinoion though

Well she'll never be at a loss for a potholder or coaster, I suppose- just take out the joining seam from a square and voile!

I don't think it's weird to crochet in the bathtub but I've never done it. I have sat on the toilet (lid closed) & crocheted though. Only place I could go & not be disturbed as in (I'm sitting on the toilet if you don't mind.)
