That is so fabulous! Makes me want to have a pin cushion just so I could make this! I love the color combinations, too! Is the brand Opera or something different? I love also how you have the bullions folded over and reclining on the edge. Super design!

Actually the thread is Aunt Lydia's, I was using up some stash while playing. That edging is what I wanted to experiment with.

How BEAUTIFUL !!!!

I love anything with a touch of victorian/Irish. It has taken me a while to "master" (yea...right!) the bullion stitch, as the last loop on my hook seems to be too loose. My first bullion project was a beautiful little bookmark by Denise Augostine (can I say this?...I'm still a newbie). I don't know what happened to her site. At any rate, would love to see more!
