Quick Shawl

[Everyday Crochet]

Last night I made up this quick shawl (? I think that is what you would call it... correct me if I'm wrong). I used Bernat Soft Boulce in a tan/brown color and just did a dc, ch 1, sk 1 sp. for four rows and then 1 row of all dc. I increased the last 3 rows a bit and then did a ruffle edge by doing 5 dc in each stitch.

 

You can wear it as seen or with the tie to the side on one shoulder. Both ways are cute, but the picture doesn't show it nearly as well as it looks in person. It keps slipping off her shoulders so I am going to add in another 2 rows and decrease a bit to help it stay in place better. It is tied together in the front with a chain of 100 made from the same yarn, although we are looking for some type of a flower to make or an old broach to use.
