Christmas Shawls

Here are the 2 shawls I made my mom and sister for christmas.

 

Only you guys will understand this...I finally finished putting all the fringe on my sister's shawl and knotting allllllllllll the ends saturday evening about 7pm. (whyyyyyyyy does homespun have to fray??) So after I finished, I realized that my mom's shawl, that I had finished a month ago, wasnt right. I hadnt put enough fringe on it and the fringe wasnt long enough. So it didnt look right. So even though we still had to wrap all of our presents, even though we had a million things to finish before christmas morning...I redid all the fringe on mom's shawl:hook

 

My husband is convinced I am nuts:blush . BUT when it was finished (at midnight lol) he said "holy **** you were right, it DOES look better:eek " "but you are still nuts"

Can you see the "oops"??? I didnt realize until YESTERDAY when we were taking it's picture that I had used 2 different colors of taupe
