Ripple blanket

I finally finished this blanket for my mother-in-law and I am so happy. It isn't very big or hard, but for some reason I had a hard time staying on it. I used the basic idea from Linda's quickie ripple pattern. Now I can start on something else.

I actually tried doing this with single crochet the first time and I missed one of the decreases when I first read the pattern. I didn't notice my mistake until I was well into making it and one side was not looking like the other side. So I decided to try it with double crochet the next time. Thanks for posting the pattern it was really easy to make, if you make sure and decrease when you are suppose. haha
