Whirligig by C. Strohmeyer in the Leisure Arts pamphlet Today's Doilies. 16" across in Aunt Lydia's Ocean #10 thread with a Boye 1.5mm hook.

I see the pamphlet in Ravelry but not this pattern. Too bad 'cause I really like this pinwheel doily.

And Peaceful by Delsie Rhoades from The Big Book of Doilies in Artiste #10 thread in Tropical Pink with a Boye 1.5mm hook. About 18" across.

A nice pineapple doily. I think it works well in the pink.

Neither is blocked - just ironed with some starch.

Thanks. It's not easy finding doily patterns that work well with multicolor thread.
