I finished the second Dachshund and it turned out much better.  I think this designer has a better understanding of what a Dachshund looks like.  It is knitted, but seemed to go much faster.

I do hope you like this one better.

It's adorable. I've been partial to dachshunds, especially the long hair breed since I was a kid, so I appreciate your efforts. It sounds like you had more fun knitting this one too.

Sorry for the belly up, had a hard time finding a decent pic amongst the 5000. lol. I have had doxies for 50 years, once owned by a Dachshund, there is no going back.  This is the love of our life, Miss Molly.

Love the belly up picture of Molly.  Everytime we tried to take a picture of our Dalmation, he would put his head down and his ears also.  They never seem to cooperate.

Thank you all for the compliments.  Yeah it was much easier to make and the designer seems to have a better perseption of the dog.
