Lemon - Lime potholders/hot pads

I found this free pattern on the web for a lemon square for a full lemon afghan.  I took it used cotton yarn and added a back.  I had fun doing this.  I wish I could find other fruits like this and make more.  Can you picture cherries, grapes or even kiwi's?  I did change over the lemon to make it look like a lime.  I could see a whole set of different fruits, they would make a cool kitchen set.  I have seen an apple one.

I had fun.  I just got 9 patterns that are all kinds of fruit.  Apple, strawberry, banana, blueberries and grapes.  I am going to have fun making them.

Mary Jo those are awesome they would be perfect to keep on hand for a "I need a quick gift"... You could whip that up and add it with a few other kitchen accessories those would be perfect...

That is what I am doing.  I am making them and saving them for when I need a gift.

They only take 1 day or less for each potholder.
