Hi all, does anyone have a favorite boy cardigan pattern? ( size 12 months) I had carpel tunnel surgery and my hand doesn't like knitting yet but I can tolerate crocheting! go figure thanks for any help you can give me. Deb

I prefer top down designs.  One of my faves was making kimono wrap LaVisch Designs. If you skip the front increases you’ll get a cardigan. If you’re familiar with top downs cardigans and understanding construction you’ll do fine if you need to make alterations

A link to LaVisch that NCCountrygal mentioned https://www.lavisch.com/site/designs/crochet-designs/

A long time ago the 'BICO' cardigan was popular on show-and-tell here, the mention of kimono reminded me of this -  size 6-12 months

Here's a basic top-down one, multiple sizes up to 24 months, just make a plain SC trim https://lovableloops.com/patterns/free-scallop-trim-cardigan-crochet-pattern/

I thought this one was adorable, but starts at 2 years - save it for later?  A little "grandpa" v-neck style sweater, you could easily make it plainer https://www.free-crochet.com/crochet_for_babies_and_children/Quick_Cardigan/
