I'm Cindy, almost 65, been crocheting (and knitting) for a long time. I was taught to knit in junior high home ec class, and taught myself to crochet a couple of years later when I needed a crochet border for one of my knit projects. Fell so in love with crochet that I rarely pick up my needles any more, I stick to my hooks. 

This last year or so has been tough, fighting breast cancer. I WON, and i couldn't have gotten through some of the days if I didn't have my cat and my crochet. Crocheting was, and still is a big part of my pain and stress management. 

I love to see what everyone is working on. And i promise, once i get over some shyness, I'll share mine too.
