Simple Chain Stitch Scarf

Here is a simple chain stitch scarf I crocheted after seeing other people make some of them recently. I wrote up the pattern details just to keep a record and this chain stitch idea has been around for a long time in different variations and I don't claim any rights to its creation. Here is my crocheted chain stitch scarf pattern. I crocheted this in a youth size as I was using up partial skeins of vintage sparkle yarn in my stash.

Thanks everyone! It does work up very fast and I'm thinking it would make a great scrappy yarn scarf using up bits of leftover yarn for each row.
