I need a pretty border design for this afghan!

There's so many colors in this afghan, I can't decide what kind of border to make for this blanket. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think yellow would be a good color for the border.  If not yellow, then I'd go with the purple.  I'd   probably do something pretty simple, like a round of dc, ch1, and then a round of all dc.  

 

Edie Eckman's book Around the Corner Crochet Borders would be a good idea source.

I would first do a round of sc in the purple and then probably a round of each color and finish it off with a scallop.  This way the border will mimic the curve of the flower petals.

I would make a sc or hdc round in yellow, then a scallop round in purple. The yellow round will make the purple scallops pop but still be aesthetic to the petals on the flowers. Keep us posted with your finished project.
