I'm new to this. I wanted to learn for a long time and my neighbor taught me the basic stitch. (takes forever to make a blanket I have learned) I want to make a blanket for my POPS with his football team colors but he is big guy and I am looking for a lighter stitch that I can incorporate 2 colors into. Maybe a zig zag or one that has some holes...?
