Crochet for fundraiser

How do I find out which patterns I can use to make for a church fundraiser. With the holidays coming around our church is running low on funds and this is one of their major fundraisers. I have found many from Ravelry that I know people would love but don't want to do anything wrong.

They all pretty much have the copyright of the creator on them. Contact them directly and ask. Most of the time they don't mind with something like this, but you always want to double check with the owner of the copyright. Does that make sense?

 

If they are on here or on Ravelry, you can send them a PM. If it's a larger yarn company, they may have a FAQ link on their webpage that may answer that.

Just send a message to the designer and ask..most are flattered that you want to use their pattern for fundraising and may only require that you include a tag crediting them with the design.
