How is This Worn?

Recommended Posts

Many years ago, I received this knitted scarflet from my then-boyfriend's sister in Mexico. If I had ever met her, I would have asked her how to wear it, but that wasn't meant to be. I don't give away or throw away gifts, much less handmade gifts. So I have kept it all these years. I keep it visible in a drawer, readily available, and I try to play with ways of wearing it, but I just can't figure it out. A keyhole scarf usually has one keyhole. What's the reason for two? I'm missing something. I know it. Please, please enlighten me, o wisest ones.

I've never seen a key-hole scarf with a hole at both ends. But I agree with RoseRed.... try putting each end through each hole. It will require folding the second one back on itself. HEre are some pictures of regular keyhole scarves: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#sort=best&craft=crochet&query=keyhole scarf Not a one that I could find had 2 holes. I wonder if she misunderstood the pattern?
