where do you get the tea pots?

I see all these beautiful tea pot cozys, but where do ya get the tea pots from? Is there an average size of them? I wanna make some of the cozys, but have no tea pot.

ebay I've bought some there before. Some very practical, some very pretty

I bought my 2-cup tea pot from Adagio, and it was $9 (I think they're $12 or so now)--very economical in my opinion. I was also given a Fiesta tea pot as a gift. Others track them down at second-hand shops. Target and Walmart carry them, too.

 

They come in standard 2-cup, 4-cup, 8-cup, and 12-cup sizes. Generally you just need to measure around the width and the height to make your cozy, but fit is usually very forgiving.

 

And don't forget, we have our tea cosy swap coming up later thisyear!

my latest tea pot.

That is where I find a lot of them. You just have to look. I also check out second hand stores.

Humm, i don't have even one teapot, when I serve tea, i have a 4 cup hot pot.....darn it.

Looking on ebay after I mentioned it there was some nice brewing pots there and a cosy for those would work really nice
