I started on spiral scarf. I was so terrified of getting my shots today at the clinic that I needed to calm my nerves! I'm getting shots for my thailand trip that is coming up in a few weeks!!

Make sure you take your crochet with you on the plane. I few out from Philadelphia. Not sure where you are at, but when I flew over it was a 27 hour flight and I lost a day. Talk about confusing.

OH i hear you about nerves with needles.. I just had 2 teeth pulled.. one cracked and broke last year all the way to the gum. and beacuse im so afraid of needles I never had anything done.. then a few weeks ago one next to it started to throb bad. I look and it was broke too .. so I was in so much pain I called to have it removed!. now that shows u how much it hurt I never willingly go to the dentist!. lol

 

but when I got there he iform me I need BOTH them teeth out.. one was infected. I was fine up till he brought out the needle. but thankfuly the nurse was super nice and calm me down. but If i coulda crochet while he was sticking me in my gums I woulda be happy to do it

Crochet,knitting, and needlepoint are very calming for me. Some people

do yoga, I do projects. Hours fly by when I have a hook or needles in my

hands.
