Oh my...so excited!

So, I have been lusting after this Beekeeper's quilt...it's knit. I really didn't think I wanted to tackle knitting all those hexes....I crochet much faster. Any way....while out looking at patterns on Ravelry, I found this!

 

This looks like it will be a great in-between project. Crochet hexes until I get sick of them, move on to something else, then come back to hexes again! Also a great way to use up scrap sock yarn!

I was just listening to a podcast last night that mentioned it & went to have a look They are so cool. I've just learned to knit so I'd love to start one using both crochet and knit.

That's pretty cute. I don't know if I'd have the patience for it, since I don't particularly enjoy joining, but it does look gorgeous.
