When you crochet yer toddler a flowered headband, she's SO EXCITED, and she stretches it out WAY too big for her head right away? LOL! and ARGH!

Have you tried the new stretchy baby yarn from Bernat? I think it would be just the thing to make baby headbands with! It might still be able to be stretched too far but not as bad as regular yarn.

hard to be mad at the little darling, when she loved it so much!

easy to be mad at the yarn that dared to stretch out of shape!

could you maybe weave some elastic through the stitches to shrink it back up a bit? (or on the next one, make it part of the intended look?)

 

That baby stretch looks fun! I might have to see if I can find it in a local store (where I can use my coupons , and pet it first)

lol, I was going to suggest elastic too
