Ripple throw

I have a box with my wool oddments in and so I thought it would be nice to make a throw to go over it.

I've never done anything like this before and I only have odd balls of wool, so it's not really done to any colour scheme.

Do you have to block things like this or are they finished once you cast them off?

I've also made a couple of little wool doilies to stand an ornament or something on. I did these as an experiment though, to see if I could read an easy japanese symbols chart. It was fun to do and alot easier than I'd thought, once I got going ... but I think it was a pretty basic one!

It's a bit larger now. It's been great to learn on this one, but I think another time I'd enjoy doing one where I had chosen specific colours and had a plan!

Nice job, and I always always told, acrylic yarn doesn't block, or something, anyways, no, I don't block acrylic yarns, I think wool, yes but Im alergic to wool, so never have to much worry about it all, lol
