best way to ship

Recommended Posts

USPS has flat rate envelops and the size you would probably need is $4.95 to ship. You can cram as much into an envelope as you can and still $4.95. Lead sheets and still $4.95..up to 70lbs. I don't think the hats weight that much :D

Even if you have to go up to the small flat rate box that is $5.20.

You can order the boxes (free) online or I think most post offices have them if you only need one or two

I would put them in a gallon sized ziplock bag and a manilla envelope.

That's how I send out my hats. The ziploc protects the hat if the envelopes gets wet or torn. Since the hats do not weigh much then a manilla envelope is appropriate.

When I make custom orders I always ship priority mail. I figure if the customer had to wait a week or so for their order than I should ship the fastest way. Of course sometimes Priority takes the same amount of time as regular mail does. You just never know with the post office.
