Two Shawls Made for Presents

My DD asked me to make her a couple of shawls for her friends. My girls think I can just whip up something in a couple of minutes (LOL) so they don't give me much notice. I did get them done by the deadline

 

The pink one was made with a Q hook for the body of the shawl, the curls made with a K hook and the roses with a H. I'm not sure where she got this pattern but I think I've seen it in Crochet World.

 

The other was a basketweave and the pattern came from **********.com.

Those are both gorgeous but that pink one is my favorite. I would love to find those patterns for my mom!!!
