Braided Piece

I decided to try my hand at some freeform today. Several hours later and a decent sized stack of pieces, I decided that I needed to add a braided piece into the overall project.

 

I didn't want to just make three long chains and braid them, so I experimented.

 

This is the result. I'm pretty darn happy with it. Came out much better than what my brain pictured.
