What I did with my free Caron yarn

I received the same color yarn that everyone else seems to be getting - sunset, which is not a color that I would normally wear. Reba88 had posted a very pretty scarf she had made for her niece using this pattern http://crochetme.com/patterns/zen-and-art-stash-diving, so I decided I'd use my free yarn for it. It used a little over one skein and moved along fairly quickly. I'm not sure who will be getting the scarf just yet as we have so many birthdays in our family in the next couple of months. That is so pretty! Ive tried that pattern a few times and for some reason I cant get my head around it lol maybe I will try again!

I'm going to try that pattern for a scarf. My aunt sent me a lovely "Thinking of You" picture plaque(sp?) and this scarf would be just the thing to send her with a thank you note.
