I used cupcake's scalloped tea cosy pattern because I thought it might mimic a tree very well. I had trouble figuring out how to decrease it to make the top of the tree, but I like it stunted like this. Makes it a bit more versatile, perhaps: squint, and it looks holiday-like; open-eyed, just looks like a green cosy (St. Patrick's Day appropriate). The pattern was fun, and it was fast. I want to make one of the multicolored ones I've seen, too, because those are stunning. Thanks for looking. Patty

 

Yarn: CSS green Hook: 5 mm Time: about 3 or 4 hours
