"Mitten Time"

This is a pair of mittens that I worked up yesterday. The Leisure Arts pattern, "Mitten Time" was generously shared by Crochet Soiree over on C'ville's "Free Orignal Patterns" forum.

 

I used a leftover skein of ILTY 'Autumn Stripe' to complete this adult-size pair, using an E hoook.

 

I found the pattern so easy to follow, only stuttering once: When the directions for "Right Mitten only"-round resulted in a left-hand mitten, it passed me by unnoticed, despite my trying it on several times for fit...It wasn't until I was into my second mitten and ready to create the thumb hole, that I noticed that the opposite "left Mitten only"-round produced a right hand mitten! -Not a problem though, as it is the one time where two wrongs make a right, but My DH thought me a bit dizzy when I turned to him with my raised half-mittened right hand asking for a left-handed comment!

Anyway, I really enjoyed working the pattern and will definitely make more! Thanks for looking (excuse the sun-washed photo)
