My First Yarn Baby!

Here is my first skein of handspun yarn:

 

 

It is wool and firestar. I tried to make the firestar a lot thinner.

 

The skein is only 20 yds. long, not sure what to make with it.

Looks great! You could just crochet a simple circle and call it a hot pad...

 

Or just use it as-is for a decoration--it's very pretty!

Thanks! It's part nylon so can't make a hot pad. I think it's best to make another skein like this, or at least matching, so I have enough to yardage to make something.
