Interesting pattern

It's a fichu (fĭsh'ū, fē-shū')

n.

A woman's triangular scarf of lightweight fabric, worn over the shoulders and crossed or tied in a loose knot at the breast.

[French, from past participle of ficher, to fix, from Vulgar Latin *figicāre, from Latin fīgere.]

Here's some more pictures of what they can look like: http://itsafichu.com/

Interestingly, I love Once Upon a Pattern, I found it a while back, it's good for re-enactment (civil war) attire ideas/patterns.

This http://www.onceuponapattern.com//p406.html is what I want. (At least for re-enactments) I'd also love the cape patterns and the tam o' shanter pattern even if those are later than I could use for re-enactments.

Wow, very pretty. I'll bet someone around here is talented enough to come up with a pattern for a modern fichu. :)
