storing afghans

Why not get ahead of the mad rush and go ahead and box them as presents? I've done that before as I finished one and it seemed to work very well. Took a lot of the last minute stress off me.

I too use the space bags for yarn, afghans and clothes for my children. They are GREAT. I even have my Holly Hobbie rag dolls in one.

 

I can put them in our basement without having to worry:D

However you wind up deciding to store it, I suggest putting a dryer sheet in with them. It smells good and drives away musty smells.

 

I agree....I had my afghans stored in boxes with a Downy Fabric Softner sheet layered in between the 'ghans and instead of smelling musty and card-board like, they smelled april fresh:c9 And the space bags are your best bet!
