Old, old movie

Early this morning there was a movie on TCM about a little boy in a Jewish children's home during the war. It was black and white. The mother lost her little boy and the only piece of clothing they had was a little crocheted hat! That's how she knew her son had been at the home. You could see the simple double stitches!
