Crochet Me Mid Issue Pattern

I didn't get a newsletter or anything announcing this...I was just prowling the website and found it. Did any of you happen to get anything?

I saw it was added mid issue. There is supposed to be a mid-issue newsletter sent out with some new stuff this month.

Nope, hadn't seen it.

I admit, I'm a dunderhead. I have no idea what that's for. Why would you need or want something on the hot plate under the carafe?

None of my family drinks coffee (at least with any regularity). I know, we're weird.

 

I think it would be a nice experiment with beads and wire, though.

You're not weird; my husband and I don't either. He never does but I'll treat myself to something flavored now and then.

 

I agree about experimenting with the wire. I just think it might be better suited as a trivet or something rather than directly on the hotplate; but I honestly don't know.

I got the newsletter now.

 

I think crocheting with wire and beads is a neat idea, but, yes, I totally don't get the putting it near the coffee pot idea. That's okay...there are plenty of other uses for it.
