Scarf and Hat Set for BIL

[Cocoa Cream]

Running short on creativity and time, I decided to crochet this set for my brother-in-law's Christmas gift. I used various yarns/colors from my scrap box, and improvised the scarf design using a variation of the v-stitch for a masculine look. I used this skater hat pattern for the hat, using colors to coordinate with the scarf. I'm very happy with the scarf, but not so thrilled about the hat. I hope he will like them both anyhow!
