Need help finding the right yarn with the right pattern...

I am wanting to make a baby afghan for a friend's little boy, but she would like all natural material. Any ideas? I was thinking cotton or wool, but this is for a baby, so I want something soft. TIA

I think Lion or Red Heart makes a 100% cotton super soft baby yarn that's not expensive.

I think your choice has alot to do with how much you are willing to spend... how natural are you going for? organic, plant dyes, etc? that could get pretty pricey. Hemp is all natural too, and the yarn is really soft and has a little lustre to it, might be a little less expensive... here are some places to check out:

cotton tots by bernat... that is what i would use...

Yep, the Cot'n Tots (or however its spelled) is really nice, soft cotton.

I thought of CottonTots too, but I've not ever used to be able to comment much. Beautiful colors though! )
