I'm working on a spiral blanket for my daughter in the Caron Brites in the bright pink and purple. I have enough pink but not purple! I don't need much but was hoping someone out there would have half a skein or so in their stash I could buy from them.

I didn't mention. I've gone everywhere in the nearest 200 miles to me, and NO one has the Caron Brites anymore! I can't find it anywhere!

What's the actual name of the color? Is it grape?

I don't know. I threw away the label for it. I checked the site and it is grape.

 

It was a scrap ghan I started for her last month, I'd made an afghan for someone else and then used the rest for hers and went to get more and realized that it is not carried at ANY stores around her at all! I managed to get the last skein of the pink one but they had nothing else for the brites line.

I had the same problem. I bought some grape and iris and clearance for a my first ever starghan, and then ran out of grape. I went everywhere looking for some, and finally just had to end my project a few rows earlier than I wanted. It's for a little girl turning 4, so it's probably big enough, but it's very frustrating. I feel your pain!!
