yay.. i moved house to a new town, and i now live only a couple of kilometres from the wool mills and they have a factory outlet for the remnants.. OMG its like heaven walking in there.. they sell most things by the kilogram.. and start at $10 a kilogram..

 

mohair yarn is $65 a kilogram

Yeah, but $10 per kilo is only $1 per 100 gr (about 3oz), and where are you going to find wool for that price? That's about what I pay for my second-hand yarn. You could make a wool afghan for only about 20...okay, I'm going to try really hard not to be jealous!!!!!
