I am after an afgan pattern.

It is done with a stitch called (rose shell)

I would gladely pay any costs regarding it.

Would anybody know how to do this particular stitch

This pattern is the only one I have ever seen with a similar stitch called " Rose Treble Shell". It's on the "skirt" part of the pattern and the bottom of the same page has a link to stitche tutes:

Also, there is a Leisure Arts (#3903) book called "280 Crochet Shell Patterns" by Darla Sims. Maybe it would have it in there.

It is called rose shell as the afghan is made in the color rose. It is just a shell stitch.

There are hundreds of variations of shell stitches. Leisure Arts has an entire book of nothing but shell stitches, and is useful to have.

I have 1000's of books with patterns in them but

I've never heard of the stitch called rose shell.

Do you have a link to the picture you saw or

the article it was in?

I'd be glad to help you if I had more information.
