Here's a great site with a step-by-step tutorial on lining crocheted bags. I think a lot of you will appreciate it. It has clear photos and instructions. She also has a lot of free patterns.

You should bookmark it right away. I did! That way I'm sure to have it next time I need it. I've lined purses before, and this is exactly the way I do it, but it's still nice to have something to refer to.

Thank you for that. That's pretty much how I've lined mine bags (minus the sewing machine), however I could never do a "bottom" and that gave me the way to do it easily! So thanks again!

Bless you. Lining is NOT my favorite thing to do because I've had no idea what I was trying to do. Now I can work on the pile of bags I have waiting lining for the past two years.

This showed up in just the nick of time. I am finishing up the handle part of a bag I am testing and then I need to line it but I have NEVER lined a bag. Will post how it goes. Wish me luck.
