What is the Best Free Blogging Site?

Hi Everyone! I recently got into blogging, first time around. I have been a crocheter since almost always but never had a crochet website, now my blog is going to be about my crafts, and there I go in all directions

but my main interest is crochet.

Still, I am struggling with Blogger. . .I've been looking around and some say Wordpress, some Blogsome, some Blogrankings, etc.

Has anybody here an easy favorite?

My favorite is wordpress.com Only because I run wordpress on my own domain & know how to work it. It is pretty awesome if I do say so myself. But that is my opinion.

Thank you, Jessicagil, I have heard of wordpress but wasn't sure. I'm totally new to blogging and find blogger a bit confusing.
