What to make with Halloween yarn?

I think I remember a few other people that ordered this yarn from Herrschners. I just got mine in the mail on Friday. Now, what to make with it?

 

 

I took the skein of the multi colored (orange, black and white) and did a simple 3 round granny square. It measured around 3". I got 10 squares out of the skein. I used an H hook. I think I am going to do a small throw, unless anyone has any other ideas????

I think halloween bags (any bag or purse pattern) would be nice. Great gfit for others too.

 

Think of all the decorations you can make with this yarn!

 

If you're not into halloween items, how about hunting items? Anyone you know who hunts? Make a scarf or vest maybe. Or hat.

 

You could add a white or black and make a bunch of charity hats, scarfs or square. Or any color you think might work with it.

 

Any sports teams anyone you know is interested in with the same color? Make them an afghan (those can end up nice).

Oooh, thanks for the ideas. I'm still not completly commited to an afghan. Those coffee buddies are really cute!
