Scrap yarn is driving me crazy!

Recommended Posts

The Drum Afghan CAL is another typey ou can use for scrap yarn. Another pattern similar to it is the Stained Glass AFghan the nice thing about this one is that you crochet until you run out of yarn or are tired of it.

If you go to Crochet Patterns Central and search "scrap" you will find a few items that are for scrap yarn too.

Waves of Color Tote Bag doesn't take very much yarn and you can use more yarn for the bottom and top part. I made one using some left over yarn and didn't even use all of it.

http://patternsbydot.blogspot.com/20...ps-afghan.html another beautiful afghan using scraps that many people have done.

I have made about 70 multi color granny sques (3 round each a different color) for my stress releif. :lol I just wait until I need to do them and have some little balls of yarn that are driving me crazy and I want to use them up:yes.

Sure, the pattern follows.

I've been making newborn baby benies with my scrap yarn to put in layettes that are given to new mom's in 'crisis' pregnancys. Some of the colour combinations get crazy, but they are pretty fun. It's a way to use up all the bits AND give to charity.
