I don't know how many times I have watched that movie but at the begining when all the Grandparents are in bed, the old crazy woman says "I like grapes". Well....she was crocheting!! Acutally has a hook in her hand! There is one granny but the rest of the patterns on the bed and such look like knit to me.

Just watched that this weekend! (the one with Jonny Dep) Had a blast looking for all the crochet at the beginning! There's two grannie afghans (one by each grandma, even) in two different color tones. One of the Gpas, Joe, I think has a knit sweater/cardy/thing around his shoulders. and the "I like grapes" grandma has crocheted edgings on the top she's wearing. The copy we borrowed was scratched, but now I want to look again for her crochet hook!!

Will have to pull it out of the cupboard and put it in to watch the beginning bit again. I have watched it a number of times with the kids, but my eyes are usually looking at Johnny Depp!!! LOL!! I just love him in all of his movies.

I've watched this movie a hundred times and noticed the blankets but not the hook. Going to have to watch it again tonight now!
