No-Wool Sock Yarn?

Hi All!!

Now that I've really gotten into making socks, my family has started to ask for them......I'm working on a pair now, made with Shi Bui sock yarn, in purples. I have some beautiful purple/pink sock yarn from Lorna's Laces for another sister. Can you tell they both like purple?

Now comes my question....... Where can I find sock yarn that does not contain wool of any sort? My mother and my daughter-in-law both are allergic. I'd love to make them both socks, but I can't think of anything I can use to replace the wool I"ve been using.

there is "bernat hot sox" it is an acrylic/nylon blend sock yarn, its great i love it
