A new idea for buttons.

Recommended Posts

This week I made two of the baby Snuggle Buntings from Crochet Today Magazine. When sewing on the buttons, I came up with an idea that worked great.

I wanted the buttons to match up with the holes, so I put the two parts together and then placed a stitch marker through the hole onto the piece below. I used the stitchmarkers from Clover, the ones that are orange and green and look like plastic safety pins.

So when I sewed the buttons on, there was no guesswork. The buttons went exactly where they were supposed to go.

The little snuggle buntings turned out great. They went to the hospital for my "Make a Difference Day" contribution.

Just thought I would share my idea.

it says the snuggle is easy to make. was it? i just started on it today.

Yes, very easy. I made two in about 4 days. You may want to add extra rows between rows 22 and 26 to make it longer. I made the first one just like the directions said, and I thought it was too short. So my second one I added 6 rows extra to give it more length.
