May, 2005 Crochet!

I just got the new (May, 2005) Crochet! from the bookstore, and it has some nice projects it. The cover outfit is very lovely, and I like the Gold Nugget Cocktail Wrap, and Lavendar Lace Baby Afghan.

 

I really like the article about pineapple crochet(which is one of my favorite things),and may try the featured doily, but I dislike doing popcorn stitch (although I like the look).

 

There's also a pineapple duster and a cute pineapple bookmark--grat for RAOKs and swaps.

 

It's worth checking out.

I really liked this issue too. LOVE that Pastoral Reflections afghan!! All the patterns were really nice this time.

 

Did you see the preview in the back for that Lighthouse afghan? WOW! That'll be something to conquer.

The Interweave Crochet magazine for 2005 is coming out in July. I can't wait. The mag from 2004 was very nice and had decent variety in the projects, etc.

I just bought this one yesterday, and I like many things in it. I have so many projects to finish first though...

I love the cover pattern. I only found one copy at JoAnn's and it was ripped in places. So, I had to leave it!

 

Oh well, I really don't need more projects.
