Found Mainstays at Wal-mart for $1 each

Now don't get too excited, because I think these were leftover from another store. If it wasn't for the sun glare that caused me to get off the parkway (was driving west) and onto the road going north where the new Wal-mart is that just opened up, wouldn't have noticed it.

 

There were only four skeins (this new store has only 1/2 of an aisle of yarn and no fabric at all), two in Country Blue and two in Soft Beige. Since they were calling out my name, I had to scoop them up, especially at $1 each. Also found two more skeins of Simply Soft in Limelight at $1.50 a skein, still a good price so I grabbed them. The last time I was there, I came home with 42 skeins of Bernat and RedHeart and Caron and that only cost $52 and change with tax. This time, only six have a new home.

 

Now to check the other Wal-mart by me. Like I need more yarn, LOL!!!!!!

Lucky you! I used to enjoy working with the Mainstays yarns. Our Walmart yarn department is shrinking faster than you can keep up with. Blink once, and there is less yarn than before!
