Kitty bed is coming right along but......

I keep losing count! On a positive note, it IS getting bigger.

 

The end result might be a little off perfect (as usual) but I don't think the cat will mind. I refuse to frog it-Miss Kitty is perfectly fine with a few irregularities.

 

I think my mind is going. I can't count anymore.

Okay, that didn't work. But you can click on the stuff in blue and see my progress so far. It's hanging kind of funny but it looks good flat. Just couldn't find a flat surface around here with any light (all available spaces taken up by packrat tendencies, WIPs and various unneeded objects).

 

I'm on row 29 of 56. I'm ready to felt it! Can't I just pretend that my fat cat is really small?

 

Oh, and those are LSU colors. GEAUX TIGERS!

Love the colors. Maybe you should work on it while you're watching TV or something so that it seems to go faster. Hang in there. Your kitty will love it.

I have been watching tv while working on it. I've just been really air-headed lately and I cannot tell you how many times I've had to go back and count stitches...over and over. I had to go back to working on my SIL's afghan after a while.

I'm almost through, should finish today unless the doctor has bad news for me. (Then I'll be a wreck for a while).

 

Do I need to put this in a pillowcase before I throw it in the washing machine? Mine is older and I just want to make sure it doesn't get ripped. Or do I just throw it in and go?

I think I shrunk it too much. Oh well. I do know that LB Wool shrinks well and my colors didn't run (dark purple and gold)

I shrunk it too much to fit my cat, so it was just sitting here, lonely.

 

One of my husband's best friends recently found a kitten. I immediately thought 'aha!', gave him the cat bed.

 

Little Paco LOVES it! I'm sure he'll outgrow it next year, but for now, he's cozy in his wool LSU-colored bed!

 

I'm so glad all that work (round and round and round) wasn't for naught!

YES..... put it in a pillowcase or else you will have fibers in your washing machine.... I learned the hard way..... I used a netted laundry bag and it was awful .... I had fuzz everywhere!
